Spring 2014 Bloggiesta

Need a blogging party? Bloggiesta’s got you covered. Bonus: your blog gets a little TLC.

Here’s what the Bloggiesta site says:

In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!

Sound awesome, right? If you want to join, check out the sign-up post.

I normally participate through my book blog, but decided to move it to my personal site. I’m hosting my Google+ challenge here and I’ve got work to do on all my sites. Plus, this blog needs to stretch its wings a bit. Here’s what I plan to accomplish:

On a Book Bender

  • Update review archive
  • Update discussion archive
  • Write three two one discussion posts
  • Close comments on posts older than a year
  • Delete ToT posts that are older than a year
  • Delete CR posts that are older than a year

The Path of Least Revision

  • Schedule April 24th post
  • Revise April 10th post (It just needed a new headline, really.)
  • If time, address color scheme and layout

Amanda Shofner

  • Draft book page for book 1
  • Draft book page for book 2
  • Series page??
